Ironic twist of opinion

I am not normally a fan of software companies, and I have a few articles you'll be seeing soon that will explain my many thoughts on why I see piracy as almost a need here in Canada, but I am told I unnecessarily flipped out on a coworker today who was trying to brag to me that she got a hold of a copy of Half Life 2, and that she was playing it. I simply tried to tell her that she quite likely has either a very much incomplete version, or a virus riddled one. She admitted it was not complete, but still felt this was an accomplishment. I really did resist the urge to tell her how little I thought of her, and if I hadn't got a call, following which I ignored the rest of those working tonight, I would have really opened up. I think it is absurd that the warez community has to stoop so low as to pass around an unfinished work, and promote this type of clear thievery.
